GENERAL SERVSAFE® FOOD SAFETY TRAINING INFORMATION
This is the class you need for state and local health authorities whether in Ohio, Indiana or Kentucky.
*Retesting* is included if you had a bad day.
We offer ServSafe's "Basic Certified Manager" Food Safety training, On-Site or Off-Site and will try to accommodate your time, date and location needs.
We use the most current Servsafe Manager's Textbook edition and apply the Ohio supplement document stipulations to the training materials.
WHO SHOULD HAVE SERVSAFE® TRAINING?
Any restaurant or supermarket employee who can contaminate food during its flow to the customer.

But in many states, a management level employee is required to have food safety training and SERVSAFE® TRAINING is recognized as meeting those requirements in all 50 states
DETAILS
1. The following table contains class information and fees for the ServSafe® Food Safety Certifications we offer. Duration of class corresponds to the various state requirements.
2. All prices are per person.
3. The 2 day/15 hour session course meets state and local regulatory requirements in Ohio and the 1 day/8 hour session course other locations requiring 8 hours of class instruction. NOTE that IN has no instructional hours specified, only that a person passes the exam, which will require a minimum of 8 in-class instruction hours.
4. In order to sit for the exam in Ohio, 15 hours of in-class instruction are required and for KY and IN, 8 hours.

STATE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 'FOOD PROTECTION MANAGER CERTIFICATION' ARE AS FOLLOWS
OH: 15 hours of training and pass the exam with score of 75% or better.

KY: 8 hours of training and pass the exam with score of 75% or better.
